Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring for a Warehouse Order Selector in Springfield, MO. You will select cases and non-food items from multi-level rack storage, prepare pallets, and move orders to the loading dock using an electric pallet jack or forklift.

Safety, accuracy, and efficiency are emphasized, with training included. The role requires lifting up to 60-100 lbs (location dependent), working night shifts Sunday-Thursday from 4 PM, and adaptability to multiple temperature environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs depending on location.
• Work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures per guidelines.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and wear PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Move pallets to multi-level racks and locate products per order sheets.
• Place items on pallets from pick slots and racks as required.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock and wrap as needed.
• Charge/replace batteries and complete equipment checklists at shift end.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
