Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring for a warehouse associate to pick cases and containers from multi-level racks, prepare pallets, and ship orders. The role involves operating a pallet jack/forklift, working in dry, cooler, and freezer environments, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position offers a starting pay of $21.50 per hour with incentives and overtime potential up to $32.50 per hour, plus benefits starting day one and growth opportunities within a large food distribution

Qualifications

• Able to work scheduled shifts including overtime
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly
• Able to lift 10–100 lbs depending on location
• Able to work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Able to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period
• Able to complete required training independently

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from warehouse storage
• Place items on pallets and prepare for shipment
• Move pallets to loading dock and ensure labeling and wrapping are complete
• Operate pallet jack/forklift safely and observe safety regulations
• Support team in maintaining efficient product flow and quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the company
