Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring for a warehouse position responsible for selecting cases and containers of food and non-food items for customer orders. You will operate electric pallet jack/forklift, wrap and label pallets, and ensure timely shipment while observing safety and quality standards.

The role supports ongoing operations with a team-focused approach. Starting pay is $22 per hour with potential to earn up to $37 per hour in the first year based on performance; schedule is Sun–Thu,

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs (location dependent).
• Work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Review schedule and prepare supplies; perform safety checks on equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Move pallets on multi-level racks and locate products from order sheets.
• Load and wrap pallets, move completed orders to shipping dock staging area.
• Complete paperwork and secure equipment at end of shift.
