Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Houma, LA is seeking a Warehouse Selector to fill customer orders from multi-level rack storage. Select cases, wrap and prepare pallets for shipment, using pallet jack, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

You will work a 5-night Sunday–Friday shift starting at 5:30pm, with base pay of $16.50/hour plus incentive pay; full benefits available. Requires ability to lift 10-100 lbs, stand/walk, and pass drug/background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume, production-driven environments with accuracy standards.
• Attention to detail to identify lot codes, location numbers and variances.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, including punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and company guidelines; keep area safe and report hazards.
• Review schedule, gather supplies, perform safety checks on equipment and wear PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location; operate pallet jack and forklifts as needed.
• Move pallets to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if required for staging.
• Handle batteries and perform end-of-shift equipment and paperwork procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
