Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Selector to support our distribution operations. You will select and move products between the loading dock and warehouse, using electric pallet jacks, forklifts and tuggers as needed to fill customer orders from multi-level rack storage.

You must be able to work Sundays through Thursdays (Sunday 1pm start, Mon-Thu 2pm start) and lift 10–100 lbs regularly while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly
• Ability to lift 10–100 lbs regularly
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer)
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and background check
• Ability to become EPJ certified during training

Responsibilities

• Reviews work schedule, obtains supplies for operations
• Performs safety checks on pallet jack/forklift
• Puts on personal protective equipment
• Locates products on multi-level racks according to order sheets
• Transports completed orders to shipping dock staging area and may shrink-wrap pallets
• Remains compliant with safety policies and company guidelines
• Completes required paperwork and reports unsafe conditions
