Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring for a warehouse associate to pick cases from multi-level racks and prepare orders for shipment. You will operate pallet jacks or forklifts, ensure accuracy, and maintain safety standards throughout the shift.

Choose shifts Sun-Thu 5pm-Finish and participate in a benefits-rich program from day one. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, with training provided for EPJ certification and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including overtime.
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs depending on location.
• Work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Become EPJ certified within new-hire training period.
• Complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders from warehouse storage systems.
• Move completed orders to loading dock staging area using pallet jack/forklift.
• Ensure safety regulations and quality standards are met during the process.
• Follow all safety policies, report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Transport pallets to shipping dock and shrink-wrap if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
