Job summary

PFG Customized Distribution in Kendallville, IN seeks a warehouse order picker to select cases from multi-level racks, load pallets, and prepare orders for shipment. The role involves standing, lifting up to 100 lbs, and operating a pallet jack or forklift as needed.

Training pay starts at $18.54 per hour with average wages around $30.00 per hour after training, based on incentives. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 1:00 PM until finished, with uniforms, boot allowance, and benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, and carry repeatedly.
• Capable of lifting 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs location dependent.
• Able to work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Able to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers to fill customer orders.
• Move completed orders to loading dock on pallets using pallet jack/forklift.
• Wrap, label, and readied shipments while meeting safety standards.
• Follow safety policies, maintain clean work area, and report hazards.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Transport pallets to shipping dock and prepare for shipment.
• Complete equipment checks and paperwork at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
