Job description

Work in a Sysco warehouse and be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community. This active, physical role includes operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, organizing, and palletizing products to build customer orders.

Work Environment:

• Safe working environment with temperature and humidity variations based on weather conditions and product type (non-refrigerated, refrigerated, frozen).

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum of 0-1 years of work experience.
2. At least 18 years of age.

Preferred Experience:

1. 6+ months of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
2. 6+ months of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently lift products weighing 1lb - 75lbs, up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating equipment and retrieving products from lower shelves.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Stand for 10-12 hours daily.
