Novo Building Products is seeking a reliable Order Puller for the 2nd shift in Channahon, IL. You will pull lumber and millwork orders, scan items with RF equipment, verify counts, label, palletize, and move loads to designated areas.

Heavy lifting and accurate order fulfillment are essential, with a potential bonus up to 50% on top of hourly pay. Responsibilities include safe operation, teamwork with warehouse staff, and maintaining organization.

Position Summary

We areseekinga reliable and detail-oriented Order Puller to join our team. This role involves manually pulling lumber and millwork orders from the warehouse for shipment, using an RF scanner to ensure accuracy. Responsibilities includemeasuring inlinear feet, verifying product counts, labeling, building pallets, and delivering completed loads todesignatedareas. The ideal candidate should be familiar with lumber and millwork products, able to lift heavy loads repeatedly, and work closely with the warehouse team to ensuretimelyandaccurateorder fulfillment.

Additionalearning potential through order pulling bonus (up to 50% on top of the hourlyrate)*

Scan locations and pull products using an RF Scanner to fulfill customer orders safely and effectively.

Ensuresall units are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport.

Communicateany discrepancies, product issues, or safety issues with the Supervisor.

Place the completed and labeled order into the designated area once the order is fulfilled.

Maintains a clean work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc.

Successfully passes all Novo tugger training andoperatesa tugger following all safety requirementsestablishedwithin Novo.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required)

Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements.

Use ofproper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company-approved tools whileremainingaware of hazards. andmaintaininga safe work environmentAbilityto move awkward product lengths and weights.

Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills.

Ability to read, understand, and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Flexibility in scheduling – able to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.

Prior experience driving industrial-powered equipment.

High School Diploma and GED
