Novo Building Products in Dallas, TX is hiring an Order Puller for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM or finish). You will pull customer orders using an RF scanner, verify quantities, label items, and prepare loads for transport, ensuring accuracy and safety. Strong attention to detail, ability to read procedures, and comfort with physical tasks are required.

Training includes tugger operation; overtime may be required. Benefits include shift premium and a 401k with employer match.

Schedule2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM or until finish, Monday- FridayPay$20.25Position SummaryThe Order Puller will be responsible for accurately pulling customer orders by using RF Scanner.The puller needs to verify product and count accuracy, receive, and label per procedures, and deliver finished load to designated area.The puller will need the ability to accurately measure in linear feet and properly build a pallet.Essential ResponsibilitiesScan's location and pulls product using RF Scanner to fulfill customer orders in a safe and effective manner.Ensures all units are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport.Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.Places completed and labelled order into designated area once order is fulfilled.Maintains a clean work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc.Successfully passes all Novo tugger training and operates a tugger following all safety requirements established within Novo.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications (Required)Must be 18 years of age or older.Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements.Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards. and maintaining a safe work environment Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights.Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills.Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.Flexibility in scheduling – able to work overtime as needed.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment.High School Diploma and GEDTravel RequirementsNo travel requirements.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust.100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp.80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception.50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment.10%: Working bent at waist, climbing, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bending or twisting.Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance.About NovoNovo Building Products is an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of stair parts, mouldings, doors, specialty millwork, and a variety of board products.
