Job summary

Novo Building Products in Zeeland, Michigan, is hiring an Order Puller to accurately pull customer orders with an RF Scanner and verify product counts.

You will label per procedures, build pallets, and deliver finished loads to designated areas while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires the ability to read written procedures, lift up to 50 lbs, work overtime, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to perform all essential functions including physical requirements.
• Flexibility in scheduling – overtime as needed.
• Read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Scan's location and pulls product using RF Scanner to fulfill customer orders in a safe and effective manner.
• Verifies product and count accuracy, receives, and labels per procedures, and delivers finished load to designated area.
• Maintains units organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport.
• Communicates discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.
• Places completed and labelled order into designated area once order is fulfilled.
• Maintains a clean work area, sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, etc.
• Successfully passes all Novo tugger training and operates a tugger following all safety requirements established within Novo.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
