CHASE Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Order Picker for the Powder Springs / Lithia Springs / Austell area in Georgia. The role requires heavy lifting, standing and walking throughout an 8–hour shift, with RF scanner use and some stand-up forklift work.

Responsibilities include accurate order picking, packing, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Applicants should have prior RF scanner experience, forklift familiarity, and a reliable attendance record.

CHASE Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Order Picker with an exceptional work ethic, dependable attendance, and a team-first attitude. Previous order picking, RF scanner, and stand-up forklift experience are required. This position primarily involves picking orders by hand using an RF scanner and pallet jack, with some stand-up forklift operation as needed. We need someone who can maintain picking speed and accuracy while helping with packing, making boxes, and whatever else is needed each day to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, scan, and prepare customer orders while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
• Use an RF scanner and pallet jack to locate, move, and stage materials.
• Operate a stand-up forklift as needed.
• Make boxes, pack orders, label cartons, and prepare shipments.
• Protect freight using shrink wrap, banding, and proper carton stacking.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Receive inventory, verify quantities against purchase orders, and stock shelves.
• Operate print-and-apply labeling equipment as trained.
• Prepare shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading and required DOT documentation, as assigned.
• Complete routine computer data entry and inventory inquiries.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Help other departments and complete additional warehouse duties as directed.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on order picking experience using an RF scanner.
• Previous stand-up forklift experience.
• Ability to keep up with order picking performance requirements while maintaining accuracy.
• Exceptional work ethic, reliable attendance, and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills; ERP or warehouse management system experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clean federal background check and passing drug test required.
• Willingness to work overtime or additional shifts as needed.
• Comfortable working at a fast pace in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Stand and walk throughout an 8-10-hour shift, with frequent reaching, pulling, and bending. Frequently move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Handle products at floor, shelf, and other storage heights. Accurately read labels, scanner screens, paperwork, and product information. Work in seasonal heat, cold, and humidity, with possible exposure to warehouse dust, noise, and odors. Follow all required safety precautions when handling materials and operating equipment. Essential job functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
