Performance Foodservice in Jackson, MS seeks reliable warehouse associates to select cases and containers of food and non-food items from multi-level racks, forklift-pallet jack operations, and shipping prep. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment while supporting daily distribution operations.

The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, working in varied temperatures, and passing pre-employment checks.

Formación

• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Lift 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs depending on location.
• Work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within new-hire training period.

Responsabilidades

• Follow safety policies and ensure work area is safe; report unsafe conditions.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and wear PPE as required.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards for location and company guidelines.
• Move pallets on pallet jack along multi-level racks and locate products per order sheets.
• Manually pick items and place on pallets from pick slots and racks.
• Transport finished orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if needed; complete paperwork.
