Job summary

GPC is hiring a Warehouse Order Builder in Minnesota to support its beverage distribution operations. You will operate a ride-on electric pallet jack, scan inventory with a handheld device, and assemble pallets exactly to order specs, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.

The role emphasizes fast-paced teamwork, safety, and reliability, with a schedule of four 9-hour shifts plus a half-day. Competitive benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Prior warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Experience operating a ride-on electric pallet jack is desirable (training may be provided).

Responsibilities

• Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack to pick and move beverage products safely.
• Use a handheld scanner to locate and verify inventory items.
• Accurately build and wrap pallets per order specifications.
• Replenish returned merchandise into correct inventory locations.
• Assist in loading delivery trucks and serve walk-in customers during pickups.

The Warehouse Order Builder plays a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring customer orders are accurately picked and prepared for timely delivery. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule

Enjoy a steady schedule: four 9-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and an early-finish half day (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) (Monday-Friday).

• Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack to pick and move beverage products efficiently and safely.
• Utilize a handheld scanner to locate and verify inventory items.
• Accurately build and wrap pallets in accordance with order specifications.
• Replenish returned merchandise into appropriate inventory locations.
• Provide prompt and professional service to walk-in customers during pickups.
• Assist in loading delivery trucks to ensure proper staging and dispatch of outbound shipments.
  

What does it take to be a Warehouse Order Builder?

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Experience operating a ride-on electric pallet jack is highly desirable (training may be provided).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Effective time management and communication skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies.
