Job summary

GPC in Minnesota is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver and merchandise products for our beverage brands. You will operate a Class A vehicle, unload, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate logs while adhering to DOT and safety standards.

You’ll be home every evening with a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule starting at 5:00 AM. GPC offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, and a Saturday shift premium for weekend work.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record with a strong safety history.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with good time management.
• Prior experience with product delivery or route sales is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to safely deliver products to a designated customer route.
• Unload and check in products and ensure accurate delivery quantities with store personnel.
• Merchandise product at designated stops to ensure shelves are well-stocked and displays meet GPC standards.
• Serve as the face of GPC, fostering strong relationships with store teams and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing on-site questions or concerns professionally.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, company, and safety policies and regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.

Work Schedule:

• Be home every evening and night—no overnight hauls.
• Enjoy a four-day workweek (10-hour shifts) - Workdays include Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
• Start time is 5:00 AM.

A day in the life of a Class A CDL Driver:

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to safely deliver products to a designated customer route.

What does it take to succeed as a Class A CDL driver?

• Ability to lift, carry, and handle up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently
• Prior experience with product delivery, merchandising, or route sales is a plus but not required
• A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service
