GPC, a leading beverage distributor, is seeking a Janitor to maintain a clean and presentable facility, focusing on office and common areas. Join a family-owned team dedicated to quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of office spaces and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum as part of daily tasks.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; monitor supplies.
• Keep windows, doors and surfaces clean; manage cleaning supplies inventory.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain a clean and presentable facility by overseeing the overall upkeep and appearance of our building, with a focus on the office and common areas. Work Schedule

• Full- Time


• Monday- Friday


• 7:00AM – 3:00PM

A day in the life of a Janitor looks like:

• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of office spaces and common areas


• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming


• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed


• Clean, sanitize, and ensure restrooms are stocked


• Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, and other surfaces


• Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies inventory


• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel


• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations


• Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned

What does it take to be a Janitor?

• Possess or be working toward a High School Diploma/GED


• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred


• Able to use standard cleaning equipment


• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
