Job summary

U.S. AutoForce is seeking a supervisor to oversee a work group, manage schedules (Mon-Fri 5:00am–1:30pm with rotating Saturdays), and drive process improvements.

The role includes interviewing, hiring, and training, plus enforcing safety and productivity standards in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will lead safety initiatives, ensure excellent customer service, operate power equipment (including forklift), and may serve as backup driver as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience.
• Skills and experience sufficient to supervise assistant receivers and helpers.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems.
• Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice.
• Good memory and scanning abilities.
• Good communication and math skills.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs. with the proper equipment and climb 20 feet on a regular basis.
• Able to learn to use a forklift.
• May require valid drivers license and conformance with company driver policy.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication.
• Conducts interviews, hiring and training as necessary.
• Supports the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe working environment for all associates.
• Assists with process improvement initiatives.
• Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures. Continually enforces productivity standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service and communication.
• Operate power equipment, including fork-lift.
• May work as a backup driver as assigned or directed.
