Performance Team is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee daily operations, coordinate inventory and staff, and ensure safe, efficient distribution activities. The role emphasizes accurate inventory control, cycle counts, and payroll management within a full-time on-site setting.

The position requires high school diploma or GED and at least some related experience, with strong leadership and organizational skills to meet customer metrics and maintain process discipline.

Qualifications

• Supervises and coordinates warehouse staff and operations.
• Maintains inventory quality and reporting accuracy.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed in all activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory adjustment records (cycles, physicals, catch weight audits).
• Assist with Inventory Control; maintain inventory accuracy; supervise supply areas.
• Maintain computerized records of inventory.
• Perform cycle counts; investigate variances; adjust records.
• Review inbound appointment log and open order reports daily to plan work.
• Plan inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule staff accordingly.
• Assign workers to duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Update operational procedures and ensure clear communication to staff.
• Track productivity and assess performance by individual and department.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control to maximize accuracy.
• Manage payroll for the department.
• Advise staff on handling of items and equipment in storage and shipping.
• Trace item histories to resolve discrepancies.
• Determine work procedures; prepare schedules; expedite workflow.
• Issue written and oral instructions.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
