Job summary

Performance Team in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials in a busy warehouse setting. You will coordinate staff, plan inbound/outbound schedules, and ensure procedures are followed to meet customer metrics.

The role requires strong leadership, inventory control experience, and the ability to manage payroll and supervisor staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information clearly.
• Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, percentages; use of tables and charts.

Responsibilities

• Reviews inbound appointment logs and open order reports daily to plan work activities.
• Plans inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Assesses staffing needs based on workload and schedules staff accordingly.
• Assigns workers to duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Keeps procedures updated and communicates them to warehouse staff.
• Tracks productivity and assesses performance by individual and department.
• Works with Inventory Control to ensure high inventory accuracy.
• Manages payroll for the department.
• Advises employees on handling items received, stored, and shipped.
• Investigates discrepancies between inventory records and actual stock.
• Determines work procedures, prepares schedules, and expedites workflow; ensures food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
