Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support inbound or outbound activities. You will work under a Warehouse Supervisor, following SOPs to ensure quality, safety and productivity.

You may operate various material handling equipment and perform routine tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping orders. Training starts on day one in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 feet.
• RF scanner or voice-picking experience preferred.
• Overtime may be required with little notice.
• Follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders: pick, check quality, sort, pallet, pack, and prepare for shipment.
• Pick large items with equipment or small items by cart.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and join projects.
• Use Warehouse Management System to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed (forklift, order picker, etc.).
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and perform inventory tasks.
• Attend associate meetings and report concerns to management.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company policies.
