Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops in Channahon, IL to support inbound or outbound activities. You will follow SOPs to process orders, perform quality checks, build and wrap pallets, and prepare shipments.

Cross-training and operating various warehouse equipment are part of the role. The position requires occasional overtime, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy, in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds preferred.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in and/or send out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
