Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a seasoned Operations Leader to support the Director of Operations at our Grayslake distribution center. You will direct warehouse activities, oversee daily production and order fulfillment, and establish procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency across inbounds, outbound shipments, and inventory control.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory warehouse experience, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant work experience accepted in lieu.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in a warehouse.
• When applicable, Certified Designated Representative (CDR) by the State of Florida to ensure compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Establishes operational procedures for receiving, disposition, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead daily processes to ensure timely order fulfillment and production.
• Coordinate with Director of Operations to resolve daily challenges and ensure accurate order completion.
• Manage human capital at the facility and support staffing, performance management and training.
• Oversee expenses and scheduling of freight and equipment repairs.
• Monitor Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and inventory flows.
• Support sales by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer concerns.
• Ensure safety and hygiene practices and guidance from safety committee.
