Job summary

SSAB in Roseville, MN is seeking a Warehouseperson to ensure a smooth flow of material through the facility. You will unload, store and prepare material for processing, verifying items as ordered and ensuring quality per standards.

Responsibilities include operating or training on fork trucks and cranes, following ISO programs, and supporting maintenance and safety rules. This is a full-time, non-exempt role eligible for overtime and requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, stores and places raw material for processing.
• Follows ISO programs; verifies material as ordered and quality per ASTM or customer specs.
• Loads material on/off trucks or rail cars; checks against customer orders/BOL.
• Secure material on railcars; perform daily fork truck and crane inspections.
• Maintain adherence to safety rules and regulations.
• Train to operate cut-to-length line machines and acetylene/plasma cutting beds.
• Assist maintenance as needed.
