Job summary

Protolabs in Rosemount, MN is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate I for onsite Monday–Friday 8am–4pm. You will unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and prepare outgoing parcels using AX and X-carrier systems.

The role requires a high school diploma, warehouse/dock experience, basic arithmetic, and strong attention to detail. You must be punctual and able to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse and dock experience required.
• Experience with power tools used in metalworking.
• Able to operate a computer and perform basic arithmetic.
• Read and write in English.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Safe handling of sharp tools.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming shipment.
• Verify accuracy against packing lists or invoices.
• Organize and store stock for efficiency.
• Put away material in warehouse.
• Process outgoing domestic parcel shipments (AX, X-carrier).
• Pick, pack, and label items for shipping (AX, AX Mobile, X-carrier).
• Generate shipping labels and documentation (X-carrier).
• Conduct inspections for damage or defects during receiving.
• Select packaging materials for items and prevent transit damage.
• Notify Logistics of discrepancies requiring escalation.
• Complete shipping/receiving forms and records.
• Maintain organized records for reference.
