Job summary

SSAB is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to manage material flow in the warehouse, including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, issuing materials, and cycle counts. The role requires operating equipment such as forklifts and an overhead crane and data entry into tracking systems.

The position is full-time, hourly, eligible for overtime, with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts. Safety, accuracy, and readiness to work in a demanding environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSE required.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in an industrial environment in receiving or warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Unload, place and store material.
• Verify material matches orders.
• Enter data into forms, tracking systems and spreadsheets.
• Perform receiving and stocking.
• Issue materials and conduct cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts and overhead crane.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace.
