Job summary

Interstate Batteries in New York is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately process distribution center tasks using RF scanning devices, material handling equipment—electric and manual pallet jacks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, WMS applications—and other shipping applications.

You will perform receiving, transfer, pick, pack, and ship tasks, tag pallets, stock shelves, and maintain a high level of accuracy while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Cooperative team attitude and sense of urgency.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Handle products per warehouse standards (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, pack.
• Perform general warehousing duties (restocking, housekeeping).
• Ability to multi-task and transition between tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
