Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Texas is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately process distribution center tasks using RF scanning, pallet jacks, forklifts, and WMS tools.

You will handle receiving, transfers, picking, packing, shipping, and battery handling while maintaining safety and cleanliness. No experience required; training is provided and prior warehouse experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• No experience required; warehouse ops experience preferred.
• Experience with RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack, stretch-wrap.
• Computers knowledge or ability to learn applicable systems.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification.
• Tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• General warehousing duties (restocking shelves and housekeeping).
• Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition between tasks.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management.
