Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Dallas, TX is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to perform receiving, storing, and shipping in a refrigerated environment. You will read schedules, move items, and maintain accurate inventories to support production.

A forklift may be required, and GMP compliance is essential for daily operations. Teamwork and attention to detail are critical as you help ensure accurate order fulfillment and safe, organized cooler areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 to 1 year of warehouse, distribution, or related experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items to racks, shelves, or bins according to order codes.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area.
• Maintain organization and rotation of stock in coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute to production workers.
• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and loading onto trucks/trailers.
• Check all shipment information and bills of lading for accuracy before shipping or receiving.
• Use computer to scan or enter/maintain inventories and records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs.
• Assist with monthly/year-end inventory counts as required.
• Monitor materials and equipment and report irregularities to supervisor.
• May operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and move inventory.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and follow safety and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.
