Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to perform receiving, storage, and distribution tasks in a refrigerated environment. You will read schedules, pick orders, and maintain accurate inventory records while ensuring safety and cleanliness.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and forklift certification. You will work as part of a team, contributing to efficient operations and compliance with GMP and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items as assigned; sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area.
• Maintain organization, rotation of stock, and neatness of all coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute to production workers.
• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and loading onto trucks.
• Check shipment details, bills of lading, and product cleanliness before loading.
• Use computer to scan or enter/maintain inventories and records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs.
• Assist with monthly and year-end inventory counts.
• Maintain safe working environment and report irregularities to supervisor.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Follow GMPs and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
