Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking an Associate Warehouse Operator for the 2nd shift in Lakeland, FL. You will support daily plant operations, handle material movements, and ensure accurate records and labeling in SAP as you grow toward manufacturing expertise.

The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and collaboration with production, quality, HS&E, maintenance, and logistics teams. The position offers growth and development opportunities within a purpose-driven company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform all material handling functions according to operating & safety procedures and training.
• Maintain accurate documentation records for forklift inspection, batch sheets, deliveries, and shipments, etc.
• Offload raw material into storage tank in accordance with SOP and HS&E procedures.
• Accurately weigh and pack orders in respective containers according to instructions.
• Follow inspection procedures for all containers prior to filling.
• Stage empty packing containers and sets up pumps and hoses.
• Inventory management and control of finished products.
• Take samples from raw materials and finished product for testing, while adhering to Quality Control requirements.
• Prepare product labels via SAP for blended material and adhere to appropriate container / tote for shipping.
• Maintains clean and safe work area, and adheres to safety regulations and procedures, understanding the hazards of handling the various chemicals.
• Notifying any issues to logistics team leader.
• Perform all other duties as required.
• Work closely with other support functions like production, quality, HS&E, maintenance, & Logistics (Export/Import).
