Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG is seeking a Warehouse Operator for 1st shift in Germantown, WI. You will handle receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, processing shipments, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining clean, organized storage areas. Prior experience in warehouse settings is preferred and the role offers competitive pay with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Basic computer and inventory management system skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against shipping documentation.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Pick, stage, load, and ship customer orders according to established procedures.
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation activities.
• Ensure products are stored according to FIFO, quality status, and designated storage requirements.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete required documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
• Assist with investigations of inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
