Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring a Warehouse Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm) at our Walterboro, SC location. You will pick, pack, unload, inspect ingredients and finished goods, and support inventory control using handheld scanners and Ross ERP.

This role offers base pay plus shift differential at about $19/hour, full benefits, on-demand pay, tuition reimbursement, and generous PTO, with opportunities to grow within a growing food manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Forklift/Reach Truck experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to use various computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders in the Partial Pallet area: pick, pack, wrap to spec.
• Unload, validate, and inspect ingredients, packaging materials, pallets.
• Unload/load finished goods for shipping to customers and other sites.
• Support proper inventory rotation.
• Handle paperwork for material and finished goods movements.
• Collaborate with Operations, FSQ, R&D and other teams.
• Use handheld scanners, Ross ERP, and related technology.

What You'll Do

• Accurately process customer orders in the Partial Pallet area. Pick, pack and wrap finished goods to order specification
• Unload, validate, and inspect ingredients, packaging materials, pallets
• Unload and load various finished goods to ship to our customers and other warehouse locations
• Support proper inventory rotation
• Process all necessary paperwork for material and finished good movements
• Support team members in Operations, FSQ, R&D, and other areas of Gehl Foods
• Ability to use handheld scanners, Ross ERP system, and other technology critical for this role

What You'll Need

• Forklift/Reach Truck experience
• Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience a plus-but not required!
• Ability to support warehouse functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use various computer systems, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Warehouse and Inventory systems, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs)
