Job summary

CMC is seeking a hands-on team member for our Round Rock facility to sort and stock materials, operate a forklift, and support shipping operations.

You will perform physical tasks, assist in inventory, and maintain a clean work area while following safety guidelines. Minimum experience in construction/manufacturing preferred; strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in construction and/or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders.
• Great organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements.
• Able to operate hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required.
• Perform a wide range of physical activities including pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding area.
• Assist in unloading and loading customers.
• Assist in performing inventory on material.
• Assist in filling work/shipping orders.
• Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all times.
• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization.
