Job summary

Commercial Metals Corporation is seeking a labor-oriented position in San Antonio, TX. The role involves a range of physical tasks, forklift operation, and material handling throughout receiving, storage, and shipping areas.

You will assist in inventory, loading/unloading, and maintaining clean, organized workspaces while collaborating with a team in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma preferred and ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

• Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements.
• Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of physical activities including pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies.
• Move materials from receiving/storage to shipping or designated areas.
• Assist in unloading and loading customers.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Assist in filling work/shipping orders.
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with multitasking and attention to detail.
• Maintain work area and location organized and clean for orderliness at all times.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization.
