Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator to ensure efficient warehousing functions with safety as a priority. Responsibilities include receipt and storage of materials, issuing to Production and Shipping, and maintaining clean, organized work areas in line with SAP systems.

Candidate should be able to work independently, adapt to changes, and perform cycle counts while following all SOPs and cGMP guidelines. Forklift experience is preferred.

Job Description

The Warehouse Operator must ensure all Warehousing functions operate in an efficient manner and that safety is a priority.

The functions include Receipt of material, general material handling and storage, issuance of material to Production and Shipping.

• Good Organization skills.

• Ability to make decisions and work on own initiative.

• Flexible and adaptable to change.

• Computer literate.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Assist Abbvie in achieving environmental, health and safety goals by working safely and observing all general plant and departmental safety policies.

• Ensure accurate receipt of materials in a timely manner.

• Ensure that all materials are accurately located and controlled both physically and on SAP.

• Issuance of material to Manufacturing and Packaging.

• Shipping of products and non-inventory items in accordance with SOPs.

• Complete cycle counts

• Perform all assigned duties according to departmental SOPs and cGMP’s

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Good knowledge of SAP and Warehouse processes.

• Good knowledge of Abbvie products and processes.

• Forklift experience is preferable.
