Job Title: Warehouse Operator II

Location: Fall River, MA

Work Hours

  • 1st Shift: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM (may vary based on business needs)
  • 2nd Shift: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Position Overview

The Warehouse Operator II will support warehouse operations by managing the receipt, dispensing, storage, and movement of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), customer requirements, and all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and dispense raw materials and packaging materials.
  • Inspect, store, and dispatch finished goods, ensuring they are protected against spillage or deterioration.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing of warehouse areas.
  • Operate, clean, and calibrate machinery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all warehouse materials and update daily logs.
  • Verify materials before dispensing and generate labels from the system.
  • Ensure safe material movement in warehouse and production areas.
  • Load and offload trucks using appropriate equipment.
  • Work individually and collaboratively with other departments such as QA, QC, Production, Packaging, and Engineering.
  • Execute safe and efficient procedures while using equipment in compliance with Health & Safety procedures and Equipment Manuals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including inspecting carriers/trailers of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Assist with sampling processes in collaboration with the QA department as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety regulations, and company policies throughout operations.
  • Perform manual and clerical shipping/receiving duties using hand trucks, forklifts, and computers for data management.
  • Maintain shipping, receiving, staging, kitting, and storage areas to be compliant, efficient, and safe.
  • Perform inventory counts as required and ensure proper documentation.

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain 100% cGMP and SOP compliance throughout operational hours.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Report any issues to the department head or reporting manager.
  • Perform daily maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  • Assist in training other employees in the department as needed.
  • Be flexible to work extended hours to meet department goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; accredited college certificate or university degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in warehouse operations preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in the English language (Speaking/Reading/Writing) to understand work instructions and document results.
    • Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
    • Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and control systems.
    • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, including OSHA.
    • Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, and exert force using equipment (e.g., hand truck).
  • Ability to wear appropriate PPE, including respiratory devices when required.

Work Authorization

  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder required.

Shift Details

  • 1st Shift: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM (1 Position)
  • 2nd Shift: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM (2 Positions)
