Description

SUMMARY: While a job description may not fully encompass every detail of a position, the purpose of the following is to provide an outline of goals, responsibilities, abilities, and knowledge required to successfully perform this job. The Warehouse Operator will assist with all shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Follow all safety rules for the department and entire facility.
  • Operate a forklift truck according to Aquafil standards.
  • Report discrepancies or problems to the supervisor.
  • Efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks.
  • Scan and track incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents.
  • Inspect receivables for defects, damages, or missing items.
  • Properly scan and inventory incoming goods.
  • Unload, stack, move, and place products in designated areas.
  • Transfer products between warehouse sections as needed.
  • Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, etc., to transfer and deliver goods.
  • Perform detailed manual inventory counts.
  • Label warehouse stock for quick identification and retrieval.
  • Stack, shelve, and stage items for storage and shipment.
  • Fulfill and track outgoing orders.
  • Prepare, package, and label goods for shipment.
  • Verify accuracy of outgoing orders.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in clean, working order; report malfunctions.
  • Follow warehouse policies and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks effectively.
  • Adhere to recycling guidelines and environmental policies.
  • Perform general housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required.
  • Forklift certification or ability to complete training.
  • Aquafil is a Smoke-Free Environment; compliance is mandatory.
