Warehouse Operator, Inventory

DSV is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Operator, Inventory to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory counts and tracking of goods in our warehouse.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
2. Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods
3. Enter data into inventory management system accurately and in a timely manner
4. Maintain organized and clean inventory storage areas
5. Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
6. Assist in the preparation of regular inventory reports
7. Perform daily activities for an assigned shift or within an area or function
8. Adhere to warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping, and value-added services as per DSV policies
9. Meet company objectives in performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service
10. Collaborate with supervisors and teams to improve service
11. Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to correct destinations
12. Stage, stack, and load merchandise appropriately
13. Move products from staging or unloading areas into trailers, ensuring safety measures
14. Verify driver, trailer, and bills for shipments; count freight with drivers and ensure paperwork is signed
15. Operate forklift and perform labeling, sorting, packing, and repacking
16. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
17. Perform other duties as assigned

Educational Background / Work Experience

• Experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related field
• Forklift experience required
