Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and staging fresh floral orders in a refrigerated environment. You will use RF scanners to ensure accuracy and contribute to safe, efficient order fulfillment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work Sunday through Thursday with start times around 12 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Ability to read product labels, tickets, and shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming product and replenish inventory.
• Pick customer orders with high accuracy using RF scanners or tickets.
• Pack floral orders to maintain product quality for shipment.
• Select cases in refrigerated cooler using warehouse equipment.
• Stage orders for outbound shipping and prepare pallets.
• Move and handle freight safely throughout the warehouse.
• Verify labels and tickets to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

What You’ll Do

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of fresh floral orders for shipment. This position supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, picking, packing, and staging products while maintaining efficiency, safety, and product quality in a fast-paced distribution environment.

• Receive incoming product and replenish warehouse inventory to support order fulfillment
• Pick customer orders using RF scanners or paper pick tickets with a high level of accuracy
• Pack floral orders carefully to ensure product quality and readiness for shipment
• Select cases of flowers in a refrigerated box pick cooler using warehouse equipment (training provided)
• Stage completed orders by stacking boxes, shrink wrapping, and preparing pallets for outbound shipping
• Move and handle freight safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
• Read and verify product labels, tickets, and documentation to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while meeting productivity expectations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role operates in a warehouse environment that includes a refrigerated cooler maintained at approximately 36°F to preserve fresh floral products.

This Position Requires The Ability To

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods
• Safely handle freight, boxes, and inventory during the shift

Compensation & Benefits (What’s In It For You)

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $17.50 per hour.

Work Location: Onsite – Indianapolis, IN

Schedule

Sunday – Thursday: Start time 12PM Shift runs until work is complete. Start times or additional hours may occasionally adjust due to holidays or increased workload.
