Ross Stores is seeking a capable supervisor to lead hourly associates in our Brookshire warehouse. You will assess production schedules, enforce safety standards, and develop a productive, compliant team dedicated to accurate merchandise processing and timely distribution to stores.

Responsibilities include planning staffing, conducting daily huddles, coaching associates, and collaborating with HR and Merchandise Managers to sustain high performance and employee engagement.

Formación

• Developed written and verbal communication skills, as well as organization/prioritization skills are necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively across multiple shifts/departments is required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee hourly team to ensure timely and accurate processing and distribution of merchandise to stores.
• Train, assess, motivate, coach, and evaluate associates using established methods and standards (MAP).
• Ensure accurate, swift movement and processing of merchandise according to engineered methods and standards.
• Organize daily work orders and staffing to meet production goals.
• Maintain accuracy/quality of work for Ross and Temp associates.
• Create a productive team culture with an issue-free environment.
• Develop relationships with Area Supervisors, DC Merchandise Managers, and HR.
• Lead daily huddles and safety/HR training sessions.
• Enforce policies and safety regulations; manage disciplinary meetings when needed.
• Handle administrative tasks and assist in hiring, evaluations, and reviews.

Educación

BS degree or two years supervisory experience
