Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to provide leadership at a single location, guiding hourly staff to meet customer requirements while aligning with Penske objectives.

Qualifications

• Lead and develop hourly workforce to meet customer requirements and company objectives.
• Monitor performance, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with managers for hiring processes and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain that supervisors and associates are trained and competent, understanding how their work relates to customer objectives.
• Ensure performance standards are communicated, specific and measurable.
• Interview hourly associates and provide hire recommendations.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance standards, providing coaching.
• Motivate and engage associates through team recognition.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight handling, dispatch, and documentation.
