Job summary

Solutions 2 GO Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily shipping operations and teams in the Louisville area. You will translate volume plans into on-time, accurate execution while coaching Team Leads and ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse/distribution and at least 2 years supervising 5–10 direct reports, with strong communication and a track record of improving productivity. Availability for peak-season overtime is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including supervision of 5–10 direct reports and a temporary workforce.
Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
Demonstrated success leading daily operations in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Proven judgment in applying company policies, procedures, and standards.
Experience working independently with limited supervision while owning day-to-day outcomes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to document performance.
Professional behavior on the warehouse floor and reliability in attendance.
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime during peak periods.

Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision of 10–15 full-time associates and up to 60 temporary workers during peak season.
Own daily shipping execution to ensure volume is processed safely, accurately, and on time.
Partner with Shipping Operations Manager to drive performance, labor efficiency, and team development.
Set daily priorities for Team Leads based on volume forecasts and goals.
Lead daily communication with team regarding volume, priorities, and safety expectations.
Coach and provide feedback, recognition, and corrective action to maintain accountability.
Ensure adherence to customer requirements, SOPs, and company policies across all shipping activities.
Promote safe work practices and ergonomic standards on the warehouse floor.
Monitor performance using metrics and communicate results and expectations to Leads.
Identify gaps and drive improvements to workflows and staffing models.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and cost performance.
Coordinate training to ensure team readiness in shipping processes.
Support onboarding and development of future supervisors.
Complete performance reviews and development plans for direct reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve issues and support goals.
