Job summary

DART ENTITIES in Morris, IL is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead all aspects of warehouse operations, including labor management, shipping and receiving, inventory control, quality assurance and safety. You will train and coach 20–30 operators to meet Key Business initiatives and scorecard targets, establish warehouse roles, and drive productivity with accountability.

Develop daily scorecards and monitor metrics while maintaining a safe, organized operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of management/warehouse operations experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train, supervise and motivate team members.
• Able to set high expectations and hold others accountable for results.
• PC literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Weekend Supervisor schedule: Friday - Monday 4/10 5:30am to 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient operation of outbound/inbound teams and drive productivity, quality and safety.
• Develop and implement daily scorecards to track key business initiatives and expectations.
• Include metrics like pieces handled per day, OSHA records, shipment times and damages.
• Train, coach and support 20-30 warehouse operators to meet scorecard metrics.
• Define roles and responsibilities to ensure high quality standards.
• Drive results with motivation and discipline as needed.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free warehouse by following policies and procedures.
• Handle complaints and resolve problems.
