Job summary

Kroger Co. is seeking a supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of receiving, selection and loading of product for hourly associates, upholding the company's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors and the manager, planning staffing, ensuring order accuracy, training hourly staff, and generating labor and productivity reports while meeting budget goals. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of leadership experience
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills and ability to report and propose solutions
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (especially)

Responsibilities

• Communicate with fellow supervisors and Manager on daily operational activities.
• Manage and promote safety and sanitation in all areas.
• Plan production/staffing needs on a daily, weekly, period basis.
• Collaborate with other areas to maximize productivity and performance.
• Monitor and meet all order accuracy requirements/expectations.
• Conduct meetings with hourly associates.
• Oversee personnel records for all associates.
• Help train hourly associates.
• Generate productivity reports and track labor hours within budget and divisional goals.
• Supervise and coach direct reports and provide performance feedback.
