Job summary

Nippon Express USA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee assigned shift operations, direct staff, and ensure safety, accuracy, and high service levels within the warehouse environment.

You will monitor performance, manage inventory records, train staff, and coordinate with the Warehouse Manager. Minimum 2–5 years in distribution/warehouse operations; bilingual English/Spanish a plus; AS-400 and MS Office skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of Distribution/Warehouse Operations experience, with previous team leader or supervisory role.
• Good written & verbal skills; strong organizational skills; attention to detail and follow-up.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish speaking/reading/writing a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs warehouse staff in performing work according to sound warehouse operating principles and procedures.
• Monitor performance of staff to ensure timely pick-ups, deliveries, transfers and excellent customer service with zero damage or losses.
• Maintains effective inventory controls and records to ensure inventory accuracy and conducts cycle counts on predetermined schedule.
• Documents, records and reports all inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager in a timely manner. Trains Warehouse staff in effective operations, safety & security.
• Maintains a positive employee relations environment in compliance with Company policies.
• Prepares and submits daily and weekly paperwork in a timely manner.
• Recommends daily staffing requirements based on volume.
