Job summary

Nippon Express USA, a subsidiary of Nippon Express Group, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the warehouse team, oversee receiving, storage, and shipping, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires at least 3 years of warehouse or distribution experience, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. This position emphasizes safety, accurate reporting, staff development, and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, distribution and/or transportation.
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and inclination.
• Good communication skills – listening, providing and receiving feedback.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Good computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead warehouse activities on a daily basis under the direction of Warehouse operation management.
• Responsible for the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product within the Company’s standard operating procedures.
• Monitor inbound and outbound activities.
• Support staff as needed in performing job functions such as storing, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Maintain product location system and ensure optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation.
• Assist in inventory control.
• Promote the efficient and safe operation of product handling equipment.
• Participate in implementing work schedules and ensuring that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
• Complete all necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• With the guidance of the Supervisor, conduct general staff training.
• Ensure staff is compliant with company policies.
• Handle other job assignments as determined by the direct Supervisor.
