Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada is seeking a data- and operations-oriented warehouse associate to run reports, support workflow management, and analyze data to drive process improvements. You will interact with multiple teams to ensure accurate reporting and optimize system usage.

The role requires proficiency with Excel and warehouse systems, plus the ability to coordinate with supervisors and clerical staff to resolve issues and implement enhancements. On-site exposure and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with EXE/PKMS/WMS, Galaxy AS/400, Sunbeam, BRIO, and Cubiscan systems
• Certification in Material Handling equipment or willingness to learn
• Preferred: MS Access and Power BI knowledge

Responsibilities

• Run reports in WMS or labor reporting systems
• Assist department leader in workflow management
• Provide information to supervisors to meet reporting and metric requirements
• Communicate information to departmental teams
• Analyze data and develop recommendations for action or improvement
• Maintain systems during upgrades or business changes
• Ensure compliance with systems and SOPs and audit activity
• Coordinate major changes or enhancements to systems
• Work with Clerical support, supervisors, and managers
• Interact with customer service to expedite high touch customer requests and resolve issues
• Provide backup for operations specialist roles and other departments
• Provide backup in various warehouse areas
• Direct associate concerns to department leader
