Job summary

Expeditors is seeking an hourly Warehouse Associate in Ohio to support the timely movement of goods. You will unload/load trucks, weigh and dimension freight, and operate forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy in data entry, labeling, and shipping documentation, while maintaining safety and teamwork. No relocation required; you will work as part of a collaborative logistics team with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, count, do basic math and write legibly.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Can lift up to 40 lbs and follow safety guidelines.
• Forklift certification and Security Threat Assessment required after hire.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate unloading/loading of trucks.
• Accurate weighing and dimensioning of freight.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Report shortages, damages and discrepancies.
• Data entry into the operational system.
• Verify order quantities and labeling before shipments.
• Accurate labeling and proper put-away of freight.
• Filling out required documentation and country codes check.
• Interact with office to meet customer service standards.
• Contribute to safe warehouse environment and productivity.
