Job summary

Planes Moving and Storage Company in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. You will load/unload, operate forklifts, manage shipments, and maintain accurate inventory in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, forklift experience, familiarity with WMS, and a customer-service mindset. We offer full-time hours, competitive pay ($18–$23/hour), and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience (sit-down/stand-up) preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
• Experience handling shipments and maintaining inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by unboxing and storing goods in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate records of stocked items and shipments in the warehouse management system.
• Verify incoming shipments by comparing invoices to orders and ensure items are in good condition.
• Monitor and report missing or lost inventory to management.
• Pack items for shipping according to company standards to ensure safe delivery.
• Organize shelving, bins, and items according to company standards.
• Maintain and retrieve items from the warehouse for processing and shipping.
