Job summary

Expeditors International in Kentucky seeks a warehouse teammate to assist with the timely, accurate movement of goods in and out of the warehouse. You will unload/load trucks, weigh/dimension freight, and operate forklifts while ensuring accurate data entry and labeling.

Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and safety are essential as you help maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold customer service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.
• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulder level and lift up to 40 lbs with proper technique.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Timely & accurate unloading/loading of trucks.
• Accurate weighing and dimensioning of freight.
• Operation of stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Reports shortages, damages, and discrepancies on forms.
• Ensure accurate data entry into the operational system.
• Verify labeling and addresses for outgoing shipments.
• Maintain clean and safe warehouse environment, including Temperature Controlled Room.
